In this fantastical print, our artists had fun imagining Santa enjoying a trip to Hawai'i. See Santa foiling with his nai'a (dolphin) friends, taking a submarine ride with his faithful dog, and diving to bring gifts to local reef fish who are busy decorating a coral ‘tree’ in anticipation of his arrival. As Santa leads a group of underwater carolers in a chorus of ‘Mele Kalikimaka’, a busy tako (octopus) with his nene and sandman friends bring gifts to share with all the other underwater creatures.
